Most people lack confidence. Some are just naturally shy; but some lack confidence because of their past experiences. Whichever you are, I hope this post will somehow change your perspective on the way you see yourself.
“I can’t” – two simple words that mean two possible things:
- You can’t because you just really can’t.
- You can’t because you don’t think you can.
You see, there are a million people out there feeling the way you do. Yes, you are definitely not alone. You have to remember each and every one of us has unique personalities and abilities. We have different talents or gifts some should say. Some may be good at dancing, singing, writing, swimming, juggling, acting, directing, playing, and etc. These gifts we possess shouldn’t be kept to ourselves. We have to enrich them by practicing. We have to share our talents to others by showing how amazing your gift is. In that way, we’ll be able to inspire other people.
The key is to BELIEVE. Whenever your mind says “I can’t,” fight it. You’re mentality should be like this: “If others can, why can’t I?” People fail because they think they’ll fail. They’re too nervous worrying about making a mistake when worrying itself is a mistake. If you really want to be good, you should always have the courage and of course faith in yourself. Stop worrying and start doing. Do not be afraid of failing for failing is part of the journey to success. No one starts at the top; every one of us must climb their way to the peak.
Remember that in life, things don’t always turn out the way we imagined it to. There are a lot of twists in our lives but keep in mind that everything happens for a reason. Maybe it isn’t your time yet, but someday, it will be. And my only hope is that, you’d never stop believing in yourself!
